Some fun facts about me

  • I am married to Brian Fuller
  • I have two fantastic children- Hayden age 12 and Emma age 7
  • I love baseball and I am an avid SF Giants fan
  • I play Fantasy Football every year
  • I love to cook and bake - especially with my kids
  • My favorite children"s book - The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster
  • My favorite grown up book - Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert<>
  • I love ice cream, mexican food and chocolate

About my teaching philosophy
My teaching style is rooted in differentiation and the idea that there are many different styles of learning. What does that mean in my class? You will see a lot of cooperative group work, long term independent study, in-depth projects in all curriculum areas, student choice in activities and STUDENT RESPONSIBILITY for their own learning. We will all be learning the same California Content Standards, but how the students learn the material will often depend on their own strengths and weaknesses.

Student Projects
Much of the year we will be engaged in project based learning. As we complete projects I will post student work on this page. Check back through out the year to see the exciting work the students are doing. Before a student"s work can be posted, I need to have a parent internet release form completed and signed.

Thanks,
Cassandra Fuller
