At Ruskin, we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We are proud to be a two-pathway school, offering both an English-Only program and a Mandarin Dual Immersion program beginning in Kindergarten. Our programs provide students with rich opportunities to develop strong academic foundations while preparing them to be successful global citizens.

Ruskin Elementary School is located in the heart of Silicon Valley, nestled against the northeast foothills of San José, California. We serve approximately 700 students in Transitional Kindergarten through fifth grade and are supported by a dedicated team of certificated and classified staff members who are committed to student success.
At Ruskin, we provide challenging educational programs, a standards-based curriculum, and high-quality instruction designed to support all learners. We maintain high expectations for student achievement while fostering curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking. Our students consistently demonstrate strong academic growth and leave Ruskin well-prepared for middle school and beyond.
Our diverse community represents a rich spectrum of cultures, languages, and experiences.
